The Candle

the candle was burning bright,
in d world which itself wasn't right!
nothing it had known, nothing it had learnt
it had come to the world..jus to get burnt!
it had been burning fr a long time,
it was like a punishment..w/out committing a crime!
it cudn't hear, it cudn't talk..
it cudn't run,it cudn't walk..
it only work,
was to get burnt- more n more
until death comes to its door!!
(it won sm international contests n was written by me long back...its my perception of life.)
